Sent With Love x

Morning... Sorry I've not been around for a few days but work has been busy and I've been "De-Cluttering" stuff... With everything that has happened this year I have done a lot of this already, new wardrobe, renovations of the house and a few other bits but the studio and craft stash as well as draws just full of stuff have been abandoned and I wanted to make a start on selling and donating or throwing my un-used or un-loved items... It has been refreshing to let go!

That's enough waffling for now...  I do have a card for you using an image I coloured in a while ago and was part of the decluttering! Remember Chester... I loved Pollycraft and was a shame it has to close it doors although many images are available from Little Miss Muffet Stamps...

Right, better get back to work.. Although I am glad it's Friday!

Have a great day..

Boo To You

Morning... So you might have seen over the weekend that Christy from Tiddly Inks asked me to join the DT earlier in the year.. With all the house stuff and moving the studio I was taking an extended crafty vacation but the position was held for me until I felt I was ready.. So I'm happy to say...

This week it's my first challenge and the theme is Black or Cat for Halloween! I have used the super cute "Set Of Kittys"!

Simply finished off with some washi tape and a sentiment from SU

Hope you have a great day!

You Make Me Happy

Morning.. It was so nice to have an extra hour in bed this morning but I feel Like I should have used the extra hour for something useful instead... I made a really quick card for you today using these cute foxes from Pink Petticoat

The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps... I love how crisp it stamps!

I was supposed to be using the sketch from CASe this sketch but it didn't turn out that way... I'll give it another go this afternoon after I have met my friend for a very overdue catch up over lunch!

Hope you have a great Sunday

Falling For You..

Morning... I have a sneaky card for you today using the new release from Tiddly Inks.... If you want to know why I got my hands on these early then check back on Tuesday but in the mean time this is 'Wryn Leaves' and you can find her here in the shop!

I'm not a massive fan of having to try and colour backgrounds so the pile of leaves was a massive challenge for me....

I'll be back tomorrow, and don't forget to visit next week to find out my exciting news!

Ugly Sweater!

Morning.. My dear friend Rachel added the super funny "Ugly Sweater" stamp set to her last SSS order for me so I just had to use it!  The photos of the embossing are not great I'm afraid!

I'll try and get a better photo if we get some sunlight later on today but this will have to do for now!

I followed the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #159 and I'm also entering it into Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge which is Kraft!

Better get off now... busy day at work!

Have a great day

Christmas Blessings

Morning.. I have a really quick post for you today as I'm typing in up before work... Thought I would go for something a little non-traditional on the Christmas card front so I went with Grey and Purple!

The die is from Simon Says stamp and the snowflakes from Stampin Up... kept it really simple but it probably needed a bit of bling!

Better rush but don't forget to check out my for sale page too!

Seasons Greetings

Morning.. I have a quick Christmas card using the Clearly Besotted set designed for Simon Says Stamps Stamptember release... I love the vintage effect...

I stamped the image using my SU pens so I could colour in each segment of the branch in the two colours and then added the pinecones.  The sentiment is embossed in gold and then I have added some snow using chunky white frantage embossing powder. Since it fits in with the theme i'll enter Clearly Besotted Challenge #14 for this month!

My for sale page is up to date so pop over and have a look...  In the mean time I'll be back tomorrow with another little card for you!

Have a great Thursday

New Home....

Morning... Sorry this was suppose to post yesterday but I was having problems uploading to blogger .. don't you hate it when that happens...  Anyhow, now I have finally sorted out the printer I use to do digis I went digging through the digital stash and found this cute Pink Petticoat image release earlier in the year..

It's been a while since I last used a Pink Petticoat image or paper and I forgot how much I love them!

I simply coloured the little caravan in and fussy cut it out and put it over the original image with the sentiment.  Quickly coloured in with Copics and it's done!

The DP is from the huge MME stash.. I don't think it will ever go down!

Don't forget to check out my for sale page too....

I'll be back tomorrow

Morning... It's so nice to be enjoying crafting again... I feel like the pressure of renovations are nearly over and when I have free time I can do what I want...  Before I get onto my card for today a reminder that I still have loads of pre-loved stash for sale..... If you would like to check it out then click on the below!

Everyone who has paid up to last night will is packaged up and ready to go to the post office this morning..

OK, so that's enough waffling, as soon as I saw this image last week I knew exactly what the card would look like.. Don't you just love it when a card goes to plan too! This is Super Pup from Tiddly Inks  I'm normally a cat person but this little one just won my heart over!

Told you he was cute!
I've coloured him in with Copics and then fussy cut him out.  The cityscape die from Clearly Besotted provides the perfect background!

I'm really trying to get back in to colouring with alcohol markers and have upgraded many of the promarkers that have run out to copics and love them!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card for you.. I'm actually in the UK all this week and it's nice to be home for a few days!

Have a great Monday

Give Thanks... Plus Check Out My Pre-Loved Stash For Sale

Morning... I have 3 cards for you today using the same die set but before I show you don't forget I have loads of pre-loved stash for sale..... If you would like to check it out then click on the below!

Right, that's enough shopping I have 2 cards to show you using a die from Autumn Flowers Die collection from Clearly Besotted Stamps.  This set is quite an early release and one of my favourites.

One of my most popular blogged cards was this from October 2012 and I get a lot of questions on how I got a Sizzix Tattered leaf in the middle of a card on it's own.... The secret ... It was the movers & shapers tattered leaf!!

This was a re-creation of that card.... using a far more muted colour scheme!

Then I decided I could use the cut out to make another card...

I quite liked it but then wondered what it would look like with a bit of colour... So out came the distress inks... and this was the 3rd one!

The little sentiment is from the free Stampin Up Hostess gift from last month!  Now I just need to find someone to send thanks giving cards too lol!!!

Hope you all have a great Sunday... I'll be packing up the goodies people bought yesterday ready for posting tomorrow and then doing some serious crafting!

Dashing Through The Snow...

Morning... As you may of heard Lili Of The Valley are retiring many of early stamps at the end of November.

There are definitely some of my favourites in there so I thought I would show you a few this week to give you chance to snap them up if you don't have them already... Until Christmas the stamps are also on offer too!!

I decided for the first card to use Sledging With Daddy.. I love this stamp and will be sad to see it go!

I simply coloured it in with Stampin Up Blendabilities (costal cabana and old olive) and an antique white flexmarker.  The sentiment is from the new Wonderful Christmas Wishes sentiment set. Add a little washing tape and some stitching and we are done.

I'll be back later with the winner of the Clearly Besotted Blog hop but if you have not commented yet you still have a few hours... Just scroll down to that post!

Have a great Tuesday

I had a really productive Sunday crafting so plenty to share with you this week... I had a dig through my stash including some digis as well so hopefully I have lots of different things to show you....

This card uses a fairly old Wryn image from Tiddly Inks.. She is just so cute!

I used my Stampin Up Markers to colour in in using the new in colours from this year.  The designer paper is also from a small stack from them.

Add a bit of sparkle and it's perfect for this fortnights Tiddly Inks Challenge (#142 Make It Sparkle)

I'll be back tomorrow with another card for you,....

Suppose I better show you a card too... I have used the Joy To The World stamp set again along with the matching dies.

I stamped the trees in shadow ink and then cut them out using the dies.. The sentiment is embossed in silver powder and the snow stencil is from Simon Says Stamp!

That's it from me for today.. I hope you enjoy the hop...

Vintage Wreaths.... Clearly Besotted Teaser

Morning... It's another day of Clearly Besotted Teasers today and I'm using the sweet set "Joy To The World".  I made a couple of the simplest cards ever using this set... great for a batch of quick and easy Christmas cards...

I wasn't sure about the gold so I made another one using some twine...

Inked with Shadow inks, I also used the stitched rectangle from Lil Inkers, some twine and a little liquid pearls for the berries.

Today I'm off to a craft show (can't tell you which yet as there are a couple on today...) Want it to be a surprise for someone!!! Hopefully I'll have some pics tomorrow!!

Hope you have a great Saturday

Snow Is Falling... Clearly Besotted Teaser!

Morning... So day 2 of my teasers for Clearly Besotted stamps and today I have used some of the elements out of Ornamental Style to create this modern Christmas card.

The sentiment and snowflakes are both from the set and I have simply stamped then without re-inking stamped again to get the different shade of ink for each of the two colours (teal and plum memento inks). Simply finished off with signature stitching and a little bit of bling!

I'm so glad Friday is here... so much to do with the house in just giving it a final tidy now the sofa is here and everything.  Hopefully I will have some photos next week.

Tomorrow I'm off on a trip out to surprise someone.... I think she may be shocked to see me!... I'll let you know on Sunday how it goes :-)

Have a great Friday and don't forget to visit the rest of the DT

With Sympathy... Clearly Besotted October Release

Morning.... I am absolutely delighted this month to be joining Stephanie and the fabulous DT over at Clearly Besotted stamps for the October release.... I'm starting my teasers with this gorgeous set... Brushed Poppies...

I stamped the image (made up of layers) onto water colour card stock with distress inks (Barn Door, Festive Berries and Peeled Paint).  I love the effect of the blend into the card stock.  To finish it off I added in the words and stamens in Versafine black to give a lovely black black.

I've settled into the job now and hope you will see more from me from now on.  Last few weeks has been manic as I've needed visit Vienna a few times (head office) and this week a sales conference in Barcelona.  I must say I love this place and last night we managed to go to the Sagrada Familia and La Pederera for some sightseeing ... sorry I mean team building!

I'll be back tomorrow with more to teasers but make sure you check out the rest of the DT. See you later...
